Doris (Dori) Austin Obituary (Born Sept. 29, 1911)
Dori had been with Abbeyfield House St Peter's for fifteen years - August 3rd, 1993- July 14th, 2008.
Her wish was to stay in Abbeyfield House until she passed on. We were able to do this by bringing palliative care into the House. She claimed she loved every minute of her time spent in Abbeyfield House St Peter's. I know we all feel very pleased that she was able to spend the remaining days of her life in our House with all her many friends around her..
She added so much to the joy in our home. Dori was a beautiful lady and was a real pleasure to be with.
